View Review What a day! I traveled from NC to go fishing with my parents and was a little crushed to see that the weather was not expected to cooperate on our scheduled day. Captain Jason stuck with us and low and behold, the clouds parted and he put us on the fish! We had a great time pulling in some truly magnificent speckled trout and could have caught white trout all day long. A terrific host, extremely knowledgeable person about a lot more than fishing, and just an overall pleasure to hang out with. I'd highly recommend him if you're in the area and in the market for a guide/charter. Thanks Jason!
View Review Did a half day inshore fishing with Captain Jason, caught a handful of speckled trout and pulled in a large Jack Crevalle to end the trip. Had a great time fishing and talking with the Captain on his very nice boat. Captain Jason knew what he was doing and gave us clear instructions on everything so that we were giving ourselves the best chance at catching the fish. Will definitely go again next time we are in town!

View Review My wife and I love to fish, but due to health and age problems, we sold out boat so haven't been out in a while. I followed Jason's FB page for a while and decided to see what he could provide. I was truly amazed! He is an extremely honest and personable fellow with a truly magnificent fishing boat. It was not prime fishing season and local waters were murky so I expected that we might catch a few dinks or wander around the bay looking. Surprise! The first place we stopped, I caught a speckled trout on the first cast. We moved around the area and picked up several more near keepers. We then traveled a bit further west and hit pay dirt. I lost count of the numbers of speckled trout and redfish we boated, but brought home several keeper reds and trout, which Captain Jason cleaned and bagged for us. I highly recommend Red Sky Fishing.

It was our first time doing something like this and he explained everything to us and went out of his way to make sure all of us had a good time. We caught and released two big red fish, one red snapper and a few other smaller fish. We also threw back quite a few sheapshead because we had so many! We will definitely be back to see Captain Jason and you should come see him!
I wanted a super relaxed fishing and private tour around Mobile Bay, and that's exactly what Jason gave me. Professional, approchable, knowledgeable, and fun, Jason runs an excellent charter service. Although he is a professional, sponsored fisherman, if you're hoping to lay out on a beautiful, comfortable boat and enjoy the scenery, Red Sky Fish Co is the way to go!
Captain Jason was awesome!!! First off, he called me to tell me what the day was looking like the night before. Then we drove to where he said it would be the best and man was it. We had a great time tearing into the trouts and flounders. He was very intuitive and helped my girlfriend to beat me with the biggest fish. We have been looking for a Fishing Captain who actually cared and took care of us and we found one. We will fish with Captain Jason several times a year from here forward. The only issue is that I have to pay if she catches the biggest fish. So, Jason help a brother out. Lol
We wanted a personal and private charter and that's exactly what we got! Captain Jason was very transparent and all around chill guy. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to fish in the gulf area. Can't wait to book our next trip!!
Had a blast with Capt. Jason today on the water. He was totally willing to go the extra mile for us to ensure we had the best day possible on the water. He is very knowledgeable on the waters he works (which is a massive area) and his boat and gear are great. I have been inshore fishing for 15 years and I have never had a day where I’ve caught so many fish. My buddy and I were 100+ on the trout count with a cooler full of keepers. He even put us on the Macks and a few sharks to round out the day and really lock in a memorable trip. I’ll be back and my first call will be to set up another trip Red Sky Fish Co.
Took us to some great spots to fish. Really good with families. He was patient with the little ones and with us, who don’t know a whole lot about fishing. Highly recommend this guy.

Captain Jason Gamble with Red Sky Fishing Co really takes care of his customers! I cannot get over how great he is with my 4 year old daughter. He has patience with her and takes the time to really teach her how to fish. This was our 3rd trip and we are already planning a 4th trip during the fall! I will not go anywhere else. Captain Jason Gamble with Red Sky Fish Co. out of Mobile Bay, Alabama is the most knowledgeable charter fishing boat Captain for the Mobile Bay area. He works hard to insure that his customers have fun and catch their limit. My wife and I spent the morning of May 29, 2019 with Captain Jason just north of Dauphin Island. By 10 AM we had caught our limit of Speckled Trout and caught a trophy size Red.
Based on reviews I read prior to booking my fishing trip with Captain Jason, I was confident I had found the best charter along the Gulf Coast in my area, and he did not disappoint! Jason is extremely amiable and down-to-earth..He was so accommodating and did absolutely everything in his power to ensure we were comfortable the entire time and had the best fishing trip possible! Safety and giving us a fun trip were his priorities. Jason is an extremely experienced fisherman, captain, and guide and knew the waters and fishing spots better than the back of his own hand. He was so knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire trip that I had no qualms putting full confidence in everything he told us. We found Jason to be a very honest, trustworthy and personable individual we cannot wait to fish with again! I think it's safe to say that he took me on the funnest, most enjoyable fishing trip of my life! His passion for fishing shows and doesn't allow him to do anything but provide his customers with the best experience possible! Been following Captain Jason and Red Sky Fishing for quite a while and finally booked our trip for March! We had 4 adults on board and an amazing captain who went all out to give us the very best experience! Jason took care of all the details, taught us how to fish, bait, reel in, and bring fish aboard. He was patient, encouraging, wise, and so energetic, moving quickly and efficiently to keep us fishing and landing fish on deck! We caught over 40 fish which included a flounder, speckled trout, and red fish! Captain Jason taught us two Wisconsin guys how to inshore fish. On what was probably considered an off-day weather wise we still ended up filling a cooler to bring back home with us. If we are ever back in town again we will be giving Captain a call.

Had an excellent experience with Jason. I would highly recommend him. We caught a variety of fish from trout, shark, sheepshead, Spanish mackerel, and a large black drum. He was a very genuine guy who cared that you had an enjoyable time. His boat and gear were in excellent shape. He was very knowledgeable in finding fish. If I make it back down to the gulf I will give Jason a call.
